    Investnow is an Integrated online web and mobile apps platform powered by United Capital Plc, that enables you to have complete management over your portfolio with us. You can open account(s) with any of our Businesses (Securities, Trustees and Asset Management) through it. You can also view your cash and portfolio holding balance, fund your account (one off and recurrent/standing instruction) and view all your accounts for the various Businesses under a Consolidated portfolio dashboard view.

    Subscription and liquidation of your Mutual Funds and other investments products can be done through the portal. You can also trade live on the Nigerian Stock exchange on an online real time basis as well as monitor your order placements during trading hours.

    How do I subscribe to United Capital Asset Management Mutual Funds?
    Please be informed that you will only be able to subscribe to products that you have an investment in.
    To make a subscription through the web platform:

  • Click on Mutual Funds and you will be able to view all your Asset Management Mutual Funds accounts you have with us. (if you have more than one)

    No, you cannot trade with a Mutual Fund account. However, to trade on securities listed on the NSE, you will be required to open a securities trading account by giving us a written instruction and filling the Direct Cash Settlement form which is a requirement to open a CSCS account.
    Can I invest in Mutual Funds or trusts accounts while having a securities account?
    Yes. You can invest in our Mutual Funds product or Trusts product by giving us a written instruction to open an account for the product of choice before you invest in the product.
    How do I view my account Holding statement?
    You can view your statement by following these steps:

    How do I trade using the investnow platform
    To trade live on the Investnow mobile App:

  • Log in
  • Click on the green + button where you will see Live Trading amongst other options.
  • Click on Live Trading
  • When the window to Select CSCS Account pops up, Click Select from below and select your name (which also includes your CSCS Number)
  • Click Submit
  • This leads you to the Live Trading page (during trading hours)
  • Select the stock you want to purchase/sell,
  • Input the quantity of the stock you intend to buy/sell.
  • Select the Order Type. You can choose either market price or specify Limit Price of your choice.
  • And then click on Buy/Sell as the case may be.
  • What does the error message ‘You do not have a valid CSCS account’ mean?
    This means that you do not have a CSCS account yet. If you just opened a securities account, please allow for 24 – 48 hours for your CSCS account to be opened.
    Will my proceeds from trading be paid directly into my account?
    Yes. Once you indicate to be paid directly into your bank account on the Direct Cash Settlement form, then proceeds of the trade will be paid directly into your bank account 3 working days from sale of stocks.
    I would like to buy shares and I am not sure what to do?
    For shares investment on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, you need to open a stock broking account with a stockbroker. Kindly download Investnow app (United capital’s investment portal) from apple app store or IOS store or use the web to get started.     How are dividends paid?
    Dividends are portions of a company’s profit at a particular financial period. In the Nigerian Stock Market, Dividends are paid twice in a year (Interim at half year) & (Final at year end).

    N.B: Please note that not all companies pay interim dividend, but most pay final dividend at the year-end of the financial year.
    Do I need to fund the account before indicating the shares I would like to purchase?
